This Friday, Cuban members of the San Isidro movement and the 27N met in the second edition of ‘Media Under Dystopia’, where renowned international artists who explore the relationship of art, digital culture and the internet participate.

Reynier Leyva Novo, a member of 27N, pointed out that the Cuban regime continues to regulate creativity and artistic expressions.

According to  Univision,  the activists verified that if an artist wants to exhibit his art and is contrary to the Cuban regime, he cannot do so in Cuba.

In the same way, they affirmed that the United States allows artists of any political ideology to express themselves freely.

“Cultural policy is governed and ordered by the government and in recent times more than the government the security of the state,” said Reynier Leyva.

An example of this is Luis Manuel Otero, and his girlfriend Claudia Genlui, who has been in the United States for a month, recently spoke with him and said that he is in good health.

For his part, Maykel Osorbo is incommunicado for having written Homeland and Life.
