Football represents a man’s dream sport because it combines companionship and pure testosterone. There are thirty-two teams in the American football league, and everyone has a favorite. In this article, we will focus on the players, rather than the teams. But it is only natural that with that many fans, NFL betting is also big. If you are new to it, betflorida NFL betting sites have everything you need to start. Find out for yourselves how easy it is for fans to ‘participate’ in the game through sports betting.

So who are the Disruptors?

These are the guys on the other side of the ball who can sabotage a coach’s best-laid plans.

Yes, the whole purpose of defenders is to disrupt. Various methods can be used:

  • a big hit
  • the speed you didn’t anticipate
  • instincts

While Florida has had many great disruptors, this list focuses on the top 10 Gator disruptors in our opinion.

1. Wilber Marshall

There was no doubt he was number one. Marshall has the most tackles for a loss (58) ever recorded and is fifth in sacks (23). He has a well-deserved place in the Ring of Honor.

2. Jevon Kearse “The Freak”

As part of Bobby Stoops’ strategy, he was used to disrupt. There was no way for the offense to know if he was going to rush or stand up with his wingspan and take away the line of sight. The overall defensive stats showed that it was very disruptive.

3. Clifford Charlton

During his career, he forced 15 fumbles, the most ever at Florida. Moreover, he ranks fifth all-time in tackles for a loss.

4. Louis Oliver

Among Florida’s all-time tacklers, Brantley ranks second. His 467 tackles came despite missing almost all of his senior season due to a head injury.

6. Lawrence Wright

7. Ellis Johnson

The fact that he was named the MVP of the 1994 SEC title game should be enough to earn him a place on the list. Additionally, he forced five fumbles that season and finished his career with 37 tackles for a loss, which makes him the No. 1 “Disruptor” stat.

8. David Galloway

From 1977-81, Galloway was an impressive run stopper for the Gators, but he was so quick that he surprised guards and centers trying to block him. In his career, he recorded 21 sacks, which is the most ever by a defensive tackle for UF.

9. Jack Youngblood

As a result of his quickness, he often reached the running back at the same time the ball did. The forced and recovered fumble he made against Georgia in 1970 changed the outcome of the game.

10. Alex Brown

Florida’s all-time sack leader, which is pretty disruptive. In his career, he forced nine fumbles, which seems worthy of the Ring of Honor.
