Mayor Francis Suárez and his family celebrate Halloween in the vein of Star Wars

“From my family to yours, we wish you a spooky and safe Halloween,” so tweeted the mayor of Miami, Francis Suárez, who has uploaded two images to his account of that social network, in which, together with his family, they wear inspired costumes in the famous and popular George Lucas saga, Star Wars. They celebrate Halloween a la Star Wars.

The men of the house, Mayor Francis and his son Andrew Xavier celebrate Halloween wearing the iconic costume of soldiers called stormtroopers.

Let’s remember that the stormtroopers that we see throughout the movies are just a more basic stormtrooper that exists within the empire. These, obviously, are the majority. However, within the ranks of the galactic empire there are countless soldiers dedicated to fulfilling different functions, in addition to adapting to the different incursions of these to preserve their dominance in the universe.

In the pictures, her little daughter, Gloriana Pilar, is seen dressed as Princess Leia.

Leia Organa is one of the most remembered characters in the saga. Alderaan Princess and member of the Senate; daughter of Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and Senator Padmé Amidala; sister of Luke Skywalker, who later was his teacher to become Jedi. Together with Han Solo they were parents to Kylo Ren, who was tempted by the dark side of the Force and would be the hope of the Sith Empire.

And the mayor’s wife, Gloria Font Suárez wears a suit inspired by the female character Rey.

Rey is the granddaughter of Emperor Palpatine, one of the strongest Jedi and the last hope of the Rebellion. The only female protagonist in any of the films of the saga and the one who achieved the extinction of the Empire by killing Emperor Palpatine. She is a woman with power that represents feminine strength.
