Some 137 Miami families protested this Friday after being evicted and are waiting for a solution, since they have been in a hotel for more than 4 months and they have to leave.

After several months outside their residences, dozens of neighbors of a building in Miami are asking to return to their homes or at least to have an answer from the community association.

They expect public officials to give them solutions.

“Here we are in a desperate attempt to claim our right to a safe place, we are at the beginning of Christmas and we don’t know where to go. On December 15 we have to leave the hotel and we don’t know what to do, it is completely desperate, we are waiting for rules to be established”.

Likewise Denisse Perez, one of the affected residents pointed out that they will also have to pay the bank and look for a rent with the high costs of Miami.
