A man killed himself with a fatal gunshot in the Key West hotel parking lot after crashing his SUV into a motorcycle Saturday night, police said.
The victim who was driving the motorcycle was a woman, who was rushed to Lower Keys Medical Center, where she was declared dead, as reported by the Nuevo Herald.
The events occurred at 10 pm on Saturday, everything seems to indicate that the SUV made a turn in front of the motorcycle, and the driver did not have time to brake.
Police told the SUV driver to stop in the Gates Hotel parking lot. “After stopping in the parking lot, the driver pulled out a gun and shot himself in the head,” said Alyson Crean, a spokeswoman for the Key West Police Department.
