South Florida Democratic politicians, such as Colombian-born Congressional Sen. Anette Taddeo, have also rejected the idea.

“When I was 17 years old, I was forced to flee Colombia, the only country I knew, because the Marxist terrorist organization FARC, a group of militias, kidnapped my father, who was an American fighter pilot from the Second World War. World Cup ”, he pointed out on his Twitter account.

FARC blacklisted

The parliamentarian warned that this measure will allow the FARC to open bank accounts in the United States and even receive government aid. He also called on his colleagues in the Florida Congress to urge President Biden not to remove the FARC from the black list.
