“For someone like you”, the piece chosen by the French luxury company Louis Vuitton for a recent advertising campaign. The well-known Venezuelan song was written by Carlos Moreán and Claudio Gámez, with arrangements by Aldemaro Romero.

This version is interpreted by Elaiza Romero, daughter of the same teacher Aldemaro Romero.

The campaign that will be deployed around the world by Louis Vuitton stars the famous Italian model Chiara Ferragni.

Notably, “For Someone Like You” was first recorded in the 1970s by The Darts. Two years later, it was covered in Italian by Elaiza Romero on her album Mi Chiamo Elaiza with arrangements by her father Aldemaro Romero.

However, it was Ilan Chester who made this song a reference to Venezuelan pop from the 80s.

Other important versions of this famous Venezuelan song are those of Marco Antonio Muñiz and the ex Menudo Xavier Serbiá.
