At the 60-story Paramount Miami Worldcenter skyscraper in downtown Miami, Monday night is the last chance to see the world’s tallest digital “Happy Valentine’s Day” message on display.
Kicked off last Friday, light up the “Magic City” with symbols of love during this year’s annual global celebration of romance and affection.
The digital screen then changes to an LED mosaic of kissing lips suffocating Paramount Miami Worldcenter’s 300-foot-wide by 100-foot-tall rooftop wreath, now with “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
The vertical “Happy Valentine’s Day” image measures 233 yards above Paramount Miami Worldcenter.
While on the building’s 700-foot central column appears a flurry of floating hearts, which then transform into fluttering white silhouettes of Cupid.
On this last night, the skyscraper will light up at 5:30 pm and will continue until midnight, with “Happy Valentine’s Day”.
It is expected that the building will shine for 10 minutes at the beginning and end of each hour so that it can be appreciated.
What makes it possible is the most technologically advanced Color Kinetics lighting system in the world.
It consists of 16,000 light-emitting diodes embedded in 10,000 high-impact-resistant glass panels.
The $3 million lighting system, which took 12 technicians a total of three years to build, can create a combination of 16.2 million colors. Source: CBS Miami.
