In a series of messages released by the press, the Duchess of Sussex revealed to a former aide of her husband that Prince Harry received constant recriminations from the royal family for the relationship between Meghan and her father.
Recently the group Associated Newspapers (ANL), owner of the tabloid The Mail , appealed against a previous opinion related to the publication of a letter that the Duchess had sent to her father, Thomas Markle, and whose content was leaked to the media.
Meghan had taken the media publisher to court for publishing the letter in 2018. Earlier this year the High Court in London ruled that the disclosure of the letter was illegitimate, avoiding having to go to trial.

Jason Knauf, former communications secretary of the Dukes of Sussex, presented evidence this week in which he claims that the Duchess wrote the letter considering the possibility that it could be leaked.
In text messages between Meghan and Knauf it is found that Prince Harry’s wife wrote the letter to Thomas Markel in order to protect her husband.
“By taking this step, I protect my husband from the constant recriminations of the royal family and, although unlikely, perhaps this will give my father a moment of pause,” she says.
