Anti-Semitic attacks have been on the rise in recent days and the most recent was at the door of a synagogue in Miami Beach.

Rabbi Marc Phillippe of Temple Emanu-El said antisocials scratched the wall of the temple with an image of the swastika.

“We try to cover it as quickly as possible,” said the synagogue’s rabbi during an interview with the WSVN network.

Attack on the synagogue occurred one day before the end of Hanukkah

The rabbi indicated that the event occurred before the Hanukkah (Festival of Lights) festivities ended.

“Hanukkah is a time when we increase the light. We strive to increase the light; We do it in a menorah physically, but we also do it with our lives, ”said Philippe.

The representative of the synagogue indicated that the person who scratched the door with the swastika has no heart and is impure.

“He’s the type of person who likes to bring darkness, who likes to hurt, who likes to lie, who likes to maybe get up by making other people fall,” said Philippe.

Second time they scratch the temple

But this is not the first time that the Temple Emanu-El synagogue located at 17th Street and Washington is violated by antisocial groups.

The rabbi, Marc Phillippe, said recently they also posted anti-Semitic messages on one of the doors of the compound.

Miami Beach police said they are checking the security videos to see if they can detect the person who made the swastika.
