There is a high probability that one of the school buses in Trousdale County, Tennessee, is a total loss after being flipped over by high winds and then hit by a large motorhome Monday morning.
Around 6:20 a.m., Trousdale County School District Superintendent of Schools Clint Satterfield said winds tipped a motorhome toward a school bus that was parked at a driver’s home, 7 NEWS reported .
Fortunately, there were no students on the bus at the time of the accident. Satterfield said it is a “miracle” that the accident did not hurt anyone.
The bus driver was inside warming up the bus when it rolled onto its side. The driver was able to crawl out of the emergency exit at the top.
