In order to expand its connections, American Airlines announced the opening of 10 flights from the Miamia airport.
The airline indicated that it will have four international and six domestic routes, starting this week.
Juan Carlos Liscano, vice-president of Operations of American Airlines at Miami Airport, informed that the objective is for the airline to have a greater presence at the air terminal.
“This winter we have redoubled our commitment to Miami, hiring more than 1,500 new team members and adding new destinations, more frequencies to existing markets and more wide body space flights,” said Liscano in a press conference that was reviewed by Nuevo Herald.
International routes to be served by American Airlines
The airline indicated that the international destinations to which it will fly from the Miami airport will be: Chetumal, Mexico; San Andres, Colombia; Dominica and Anguilla.
The four additional flights to Latin America consolidate Miami Airport’s long-standing position as a gateway to the region and contribute to record passenger traffic at the airport.
